Be strong and courageous! God is with you! - Deuteronomy 31:6

God tells us there will be troubled times in this world. Plus, He also gives us promises in His Word, which promise the victory through Jesus Christ.

As you are facing troubled times, you can be encouraged to “not give up.” God’s Word says you are an overcomer as a child of God. He has already given you the victory!

Deuteronomy 31:6 reminds you to be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid of what is happening. Do not be terrified during troubled times. Why? Because God is with you and He never leaves you!

Ephesians 2:8 tells you it is by the grace of God you are saved. This grace comes through faith in God and not of yourself. There is not anything you can do for this grace. It is a gift from God.

Isaiah 26:3 encourages you to keep your mind on God. By focusing on God, you are kept in perfect peace through steadfastness. Why? Because you place our trust in God and Him alone!

Isaiah 41:10 speaks to you concerning fear. You are not to walk in fear because God is always with you. Do not be dismayed with what is going on around you. He is your God, and He will take care of you. He provides you with strength and help in times of need. God upholds you by His righteous right hand.

John 3:16 shows God love towards you. In that, God so loved the world, He sent His Son to provide you the pathway to eternal life. All you have to do is believe in Christ, and you will not perish, even in troubled times.

Philippians 4:13 reminds you that can do all things through Christ, who strengthens you. The fascinating phenomenon about this verse is that “I” is the “Christ I” that lives within you. It is through His Spirit, you can do all things!

Psalm 46:10 tells you to be still before God. And, take the time to know that He is God. By doing so, you will be exalted among the nations and earth.

Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages you to hold confidence in the Lord. How? You are to trust Him with all your heart. And, you are to look to His understanding, not our own. In everything you do, you are encouraged to submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 speaks concerning giving praises to God. Our Father, God, is full of compassion and comfort. He comforts you in all your troubles. And, He provides a way for you to also comfort others in the way you have been comforted in Him.

Let Your Heart be Encouraged in the Word!

God desires to work in you and through you. It is His desire for you to be encouraged through the Word of God, in prayer, and through the strength of the Holy Spirit in your life!

Even when troubled times come and go, you can stand in faith. You grow secure by reading, pondering upon, and praying the Scriptures in your life.

Prayer of Faith in Troubled Times

Father God, I thank you that I can come to you during troubled times in my life. I thank you for the Word of God, which is true. I thank you the Word of God brings life, brings strength, and brings transformation in my life.

God, your Word tells me to be strong and courageous. It tells me to not be afraid of what is going on in the world. So, I give you my worries and concerns. I lay them at your feet, God.

I thank you for the free gift of grace you have given me. Thank you for delivering your Son Jesus Christ for me.

Teach me to keep my mind focused on You, Lord. So, I can walk in your perfect peace. I will not be dismayed about what is going on around me. I allow you, God, to take care of me. I allow Your Strength to flow through me so I can do all the things you have called me to do.

I trust only in you, Lord. I give you praise and thanks in all things.
